The night before my husband proposed, he volunteered at a gala for The Speed Art Museum. Our friend Sterling, who was running the event, knew he was about to propose and partnered him with Hannah, who is a day-of wedding coordinator. Needless to say, when we started planning our wedding, we enlisted Hannah's help. Her boundless energy is infectious and she quickly went from "wedding vendor" to "friend." Hannah has never met a stranger and immediately makes you feel warm and welcome in her presence. She's truly one of a kind and I feel lucky to be her friend.
Last summer, she reached out to tell me that she and her husband, Ben, were moving away from Louisville. I was crushed at the thought of her moving but honored when she asked if I would take photos of them at some of their favorite locations around town. This included the street corner where they got engaged, Cherokee Park, Safai Coffee Shop, and a fun mural on Market Street. Virginia is lucky to have them.
